    Description

Love Mah Jongg? Use your passion for the game to help end Alzheimer’s. The Alzheimer’s Association is seeking enthusiastic Mah Jongg players to serve as Volunteer Leaders for Do What You Love to End ALZ™, our signature fundraising campaign that empowers people to turn their favorite activities into meaningful action.

As a Mah Jongg Volunteer Leader, you’ll rally your fellow players to host games, tournaments, and fundraising events—all while supporting critical research and care for those affected by Alzheimer’s and other dementias.

Whether you play casually, organize tournaments, or are part of a Mah Jongg club, this is your opportunity to lead with heart and make a difference through the game you love.

    Your Role Will Include:

    • Recruiting Mah Jongg players, clubs, and groups to start fundraisers
    • Coaching participants on how to plan, promote, and fundraise through their events
    • Hosting recruitment games or info sessions to engage new supporters
    • Connecting with local game stores, community centers, and Mah Jongg retailers for partnerships
    • Tabling at Mah Jongg events, giving presentations, and attending community gatherings
    • Sending follow-ups, writing thank-you notes, and celebrating fundraising milestones
    • Representing the Alzheimer’s Association mission with warmth and dedication

We’ll provide all the training and tools you need—you bring your love for Mah Jongg and your commitment to making a difference.

    Let’s get crakking!
