    Description

    Are you passionate about coding and want to use your skills to make a real difference? The World Disaster Center (WDC) is looking for an innovative and driven Website Developer to help elevate our digital presence and advance our mission of empowering communities worldwide in disaster preparedness, response, and recovery.

    Disclaimer: Please be aware that currenlty we are unable to provide letters or assistance for U.S. students seeking to extend their OPT (Optional Practical Training) visa.

    Responsibilities:
    • Develop and optimize individual and organizational registration forms connected to MongoDB.
    • Improve SEO rankings by refining existing code and implementing best practices.
    • Enhance existing web pages based on guidance from the founder.
    • Ensure the website is fully responsive across web and mobile platforms for an optimal user experience.
    Requirements:
    • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React/Next.js, and MongoDB.
    • Experience in SEO optimization and website performance improvements.
    • Strong understanding of responsive design for web and mobile apps.
    • Ability to work independently and collaborate with the team.
    • Availability of 2-3 hours per day for 2 weeks.
