Respect Mo Voters is seeking someone to work in our Communications Department to keep our website running smoothly.
What We Do
The Communications team is responsible for drafting and disseminating all oral, written, and graphic communications. This includes, but is not limited to, creating videos, designing graphics, drafting messaging, interfacing with traditional media, updating and maintaining social media accounts and websites, and writing press releases/media advisories and organizational correspondences.
What This Role Does
Our Squarespace website is our primary hub for voter education, volunteer recruitment, and fundraising. We need a dedicated volunteer to keep it running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Content Updates: Quickly post press releases/newsletters, printable voter resources, and other updates as campaign needs evolve.
- Page Design & UX: Ensure our Squarespace site looks clean, professional, and on-brand across all devices.
- Mobile Optimization: Ensure the site is perfectly responsive, as most voters access our resources on their phones.
- SEO & Analytics: Monitor Squarespace analytics to help the campaign track traffic spikes and ensure our landing pages are optimized for search engines.
