Roles Available for The Princess Margaret Ride in Hamilton

On June 13-14, 2026, join us for two remarkable days as we mark the 19th anniversary of The Princess Margaret Ride presented by Johnson & Johnson. The Ride is a transformative event dedicated to advancing life-changing cancer research at The Princess Margaret. Thousands of participants will take on the challenge of riding 200+KM from Toronto to Niagara, all with an undeniable spirit of camaraderie and community.

PMCF volunteers are passionate community driven by a shared vision: to create a world free from the fear of cancer. There are many different volunteer opportunities at the Ride including locations in Toronto, Hamilton, Niagara and along the route.

We are specifically looking for Sweep and Event Services Volunteers at our McMaster University Venue ! If you love being in the action and supporting and cheering on Riders, these would be great roles for you !

    Benefits of Volunteering:

    • Connect with a wonderful community of like-minded volunteers.
    • Volunteer assignments that engage with your skills, interests, and experience.
    • A reference letter is available upon request upon completion of your shift.
    • Students working towards an Ontario Secondary School Diploma can claim volunteer hours.
    • You'll receive a comfortable and stylish volunteer t-shirt to wear during your volunteer experience and keep as a reminder of your impact.
    • Enjoy complimentary drinks, snacks, and meals to keep you energized throughout your volunteering activities (dependent on shift length and time).
    • Transportation throughout the event and tenting accommodations (McMaster University only) are provided free of charge to volunteers that opt in to these offerings.

Please note: completing the account registration form does not automatically register you to volunteer for the Ride or any other PMCF event. You will need to view current opportunities under "Events" in your portal once you have created an account.

If you have any questions or need further assistance, please don't hesitate to contact us at events@pmcfvolunteer.ca or 289-351-2515.

Together, let’s Carry The Fire to give cancer patients everywhere brighter tomorrows.
