Position Type: Volunteer Internship (9-Month Commitment)
Program Duration: August 2026 – April 2027
Location: Naples, FL and surrounding South FL areas (Local candidates only)
Compensation: Unpaid volunteer position with the potential to transition into a paid role based on performance and organizational needs. All approved travel expenses, lodging, and event admissions are fully covered when applicable.
About the Opportunity
This is an extraordinary opportunity for an ambitious, highly organized, and tech-savvy individual looking to gain hands-on experience alongside an internationally recognized nonprofit leader.
As the Executive Assistant & Social Media Content Creator, you will work directly with Dr. Dawn Ella, Executive Director and Founder of Supernal World Creations, providing executive support while helping document and share the organization's work through engaging digital content.
Throughout the internship, you'll help capture and share Dr. Dawn's work by creating engaging content from podcasts, magazine features, media appearances, community events, and other professional engagements for her personal social media platforms. You'll also provide occasional executive support and accompany Dr. Dawn on select domestic and international trips.
Travel is expected approximately once per month, with opportunities to attend:
- Film festivals
- Book signings
- Award ceremonies
- Conferences and seminars
- Industry conventions
- International retreats
- Special nonprofit and media events

Key Responsibilities
Executive Support
- Provide occasional administrative and event support to the Executive Director.
- Assist with scheduling, travel planning, and coordination as needed.
- Help keep projects, events, and communications organized.
- Provide support during local events and while traveling.
Content Creation
- Capture professional-quality photos and smartphone video for social media and marketing.
- Create behind-the-scenes content from podcasts, interviews, magazine features, meetings, community events, and travel.
- Document special moments that highlight the organization's mission and impact.
Social Media
- Edit engaging short-form videos for Facebook, Instagram Reels, and other platforms.
- Assist with real-time social media coverage during events when applicable.
- Help plan, organize, and schedule ongoing content.
- Contribute creative ideas to expand the organization's digital presence.
Candidate Requirements
Availability
- Must live in Naples, FL or the South FL surrounding area.
- Valid passport required.
- Available for occasional domestic and international travel (approximately once per month).
- Flexible schedule to assist with local events, meetings, content creation, and travel throughout the internship.
Skills
- Experience creating short-form video content and social media reels.
- Comfortable filming and editing content using a smartphone.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable navigating large airports and managing travel logistics with confidence.
- An eye for photography and visual storytelling is a plus.
