Court Ordered Community Service

Urban Development Corporation (UDC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life of low to moderate-income families who live in Detroit, MI. We are trying to bring stabilization, revitalization, and sustainability to an inner-city Detroit neighborhood located on the N.E. Side of Detroit.

UDC would be delighted to have individuals assigned by the courts to perform community service to volunteer with our organization who are willing to lend a helping hand. During the spring, summer, fall, and winter, we offer flexibility, allowing individuals to volunteer 7 days a week between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m.

At this time, we could use some help with landscaping and with the initial phase of rehabilitating several properties in poor condition. If interested please contact us.

Additionally, if you have any specialized skills that could benefit our efforts to uplift the community, we may be open to allowing you to use them to fulfill your community service hours. Please contact us if you're looking for a volunteer site to complete your hours.
