Wings Over Virginia Hospice is looking for Nursing Volunteers!
Hospice volunteering is a great opportunity to build connections with patients and families while gaining a deeper understanding of compassionate, end-of-life care.
As a nursing volunteer, you can:
- Spend meaningful time with hospice patients
- Provide companionship and a listening ear
- Support patients and families during difficult moments
- Gain firsthand insight into hospice and end-of-life care
- Build communication and patient-support skills
- Help bring comfort, dignity, and connection to patients
