    Description

Court Monitor Volunteer - Sampson County

Founded by a mother whose daughter was killed by a drunk driver, Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) is the nation’s largest nonprofit working to protect families from drunk driving and underage drinking. MADD also supports the victims and survivors of drunk and drugged driving at no charge, serving 1 person every 8 minutes through local MADD victim advocates at 1-877-MADD-HELP.

The Court Monitor Program works towards the elimination of drunk driving by observing court and collecting information on drunk driving cases. As one of MADD’s core programs, the Court Monitoring program trains volunteers to observe the court system and collect information. This information is used to recommend constructive improvements to our judicial system.

This volunteer opportunity is for the entire state of North Carolina and you MUST be 18 years of age or older.
