United Way of Tarrant County at CEC Food Pantry – Wed., May 27 - 8:30am to 1pm
In-person volunteer opportunity
For more than 30 years, CEC has been helping low-income neighbors with a variety of services including food support.
The CEC Food Pantry provides free grocery assistance to any household in Tarrant County and 12 additional counties with a gross household income of 180% of poverty level or less.
Date: Wednesday, May 27
Time: 8:30am to 1pm
Location: CEC Food Pantry, 6250 NE Loop 820, North Richland Hills, TX 76180
Volunteers Needed: 7
Volunteer Duties: Volunteers will sort and restock pantry shelves, build grocery bags for clients, assist with loading client vehicles and potentially sweeping and taking out trash.
Other: Children 10 and older are welcome to participate with a parent or guardian. Volunteers are welcome to bring a drink and snack for their shift and breaks can be taken whenever needed.
Parking: Parking is available in the agency parking lot.
