Minds Matter Chicago is growing our volunteer Finance Team, and we're looking for professionals who want to build their skills, expand their network, and use their expertise to support a mission that matters.

This is more than an opportunity to volunteer. It's an opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to the ins and outs of nonprofit financial management while collaborating with experienced professionals and business leaders.

Our volunteer community includes entrepreneurs, business owners, and professionals with experience at leading firms including Deloitte, PwC, and EY. You'll have the opportunity to learn alongside people who bring deep experience in finance, accounting, consulting, business strategy, and organizational leadership.

As part of the Finance Team, you can gain exposure to areas such as:

• Nonprofit budgeting and financial management
• Financial reporting and forecasting
• Financial controls and organizational planning
• Strategic financial decision-making
• Supporting the long-term financial sustainability of a growing nonprofit
