Merchandise Gold Lead for BIFF 2027!

BIFF is seeking an assistant to the Merchandise Lead to serve as part of our Gold Volunteer Team for the 2027 festival. This person will work directly with the Merchandise Team Lead and our merchandise volunteers to help staff, organize and stock the Merchandise kiosks during the festival. This is an unpaid, Gold Volunter Level role (working roughly 25-50 hours during, prior and after the festival) with some fun perks including a festival film pass, 2 tickets for friends and opportunities to be a part of the pre-festival fun! This position can serve as a leadership role for a future staff position lead for Merch sales.

Our ideal candidate.

• Demonstrate solid knowledge and experience in retail sales
• Experience working with graphic designers and production vendors
• Be able to be available during the four days of festival--April 7th thru 11thh
• Be able to lift 25 pounds and be able to use car during festival to troubleshoot issues with sales system, inventory, and any technical issues, reported to team leads at venues including Longmont Museum
• Take guidance from current Merch Sales Staff lead and work together on staffing plans, quantities at each venue and monitor and support distribution of Staff t-shirts during the week before the event.
• Have solid presentation and excellent communication skills in working with key stakeholders and leads in the festival.
