    Commitment: 20–25 hours per week

    About LoopRoots Foundation:

LoopRoots Foundation is a nonprofit organization supporting justice-impacted individuals and families through programs focused on transportation, mental health, housing, legal support, and reentry services. As part of our expansion, we are launching a podcast and storytelling platform while increasing our presence across public interviews, media features, and television appearances.

    Position Overview:

We are seeking a Media & Communications Coach to work closely with leadership in developing a strong, authentic, and confident public voice across podcasting, on-camera interviews, and media appearances.

This role will focus on refining delivery, presence, and messaging while maintaining a natural and emotionally grounded communication style. The ideal candidate understands how to prepare individuals for real conversations—not scripted performances—especially in high-impact and public-facing environments.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide ongoing coaching on speaking delivery, tone, and on-camera presence
    • Prepare leadership for podcast hosting, guest interviews, and live conversations
    • Support preparation for public interviews, media features, and TV appearances
    • Help refine messaging to balance professionalism, clarity, and authenticity
    • Review recorded content and provide constructive feedback
    • Assist in developing key talking points for different audiences (community, media, partners, donors)
    • Build confidence in unscripted, real-time communication settings
    • Ensure consistency in voice across all public-facing platforms

    Qualifications:

    • Experience in media coaching, communications, broadcasting, journalism, or public speaking
    • Strong understanding of storytelling and conversational communication
    • Experience preparing individuals for interviews or public appearances
    • Ability to provide clear, supportive, and actionable feedback
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

    Preferred:

    • Experience working with founders, nonprofit leaders, or public-facing professionals
    • Background in podcasting, media production, or television
    • Familiarity with trauma-informed or human-centered communication

    What You’ll Gain:

    • Opportunity to support and shape a mission-driven media platform
    • Direct collaboration with leadership and creative team
    • Experience preparing a growing organization for public and media visibility
    • Exposure through published content, interviews, and media appearances

    How to Apply:

    Please submit: Info@looproots.org

    • A brief introduction
    • Relevant experience or examples of media coaching or communication work
    • A short note on how you help individuals sound natural, confident, and prepared in interviews

We are looking for someone who can help develop a voice that is both professional and real—clear, confident, and grounded in purpose.
