Volunteer Opportunity: Rochester Women Build

The Rochester Women Build brings individuals, businesses, faith groups, and community partners together to create strength, stability, and hope for local families through hands-on homebuilding. Volunteers work side-by-side to learn new skills, support affordable housing, and make a direct impact in our community.

Who Can Participate

• Volunteers must be 16+ to be on the construction site

• Volunteers must be 18+ to use power tools

• Groups are welcome; ideal group size is 6–10 volunteers per shift

Sponsorship Opportunities

In addition to volunteering, Women Build offers paid sponsorship opportunities for businesses, congregations, and organizations looking to deepen their impact. Sponsorships help cover construction materials, volunteer support, and the overall cost of building a safe, stable home for a local family.

No Experience Necessary

All tools, safety equipment, and on-site training are provided. Whether it’s your first time on a build site or you’re a seasoned volunteer, you’ll be supported every step of the way.
