The Kirkland Health and Wellness Fair is an annual fair where attendees can receive free health and social services, helpful resources, and family fun - all in one place! More than 50 local providers will be there to celebrate our community and help folks connect.
This event takes place indoors at Juanita High School in Kirland.
The National Alliance on Mental Illness, Eastside chapter (NAMI Eastside), will be tabling at the festival on September 19th to share information about our free mental health programs and resources. NAMI Eastside is a nonprofit that provides advocacy, education, support, and public awareness so that all people in East King County, WA, who are impacted by mental illness and mental health conditions can build better lives. Click here to learn more about us: nami-eastside.org/
Volunteers will join a NAMI Eastside staff member at our table to engage with attendees and answer questions about NAMI. No need to have prior experience with NAMI Eastside to volunteer!
Additional information:
Volunteers will receive information about an optional Zoom orientation the week-of the event, where we will review common tabling volunteer questions and share tips for talking with community members about NAMI and our programs.
