Share your music in a place where it can help someone feel welcome, relaxed, and cared for.
The Gracefull Table Community Kitchen is seeking volunteer musicians to provide live music during our first-Sunday community meal events in Garland.
We provide free, freshly prepared meals and restaurant-style hospitality to people experiencing food insecurity and neighbors in need. Music can add another thoughtful touch to the experience—a chance for guests to enjoy a meal, connect with others, and simply be present.
We welcome solo musicians, acoustic duos, and small ensembles interested in donating their time and talent.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Gentle, welcoming music that complements a shared meal.
• A comfortable volume that allows guests to talk and hear their servers.
• A family-friendly repertoire suited to a diverse community.
• Dependable communication and arrival at an agreed-upon time.
Instrumental and vocal musicians are welcome. Tell us about your style, instruments, and the kind of atmosphere you enjoy creating.
FLEXIBLE PARTICIPATION
Our community meals take place on the first Sunday of each month. You may volunteer for a single event or join us occasionally. There is no expectation to perform every month.
We’ll coordinate performance length, breaks, setup, available space, and equipment needs before confirming your date. Please tell us what equipment you can bring and what you would need from the venue.
This is an unpaid volunteer performance opportunity for musicians who connect with our mission and want to share their talent with their neighbors.
Your music could become one of the details that makes someone’s Sunday feel special.

In person in Garland, Texas, at our first-Sunday community meal events.
Music will be scheduled within our meal service, generally 11:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m., with an earlier arrival for setup. Exact performance length and timing will be agreed upon before each event. One-time and occasional participation are welcome.
