    Description

    Education & Child Support Volunteer – Mothers and Children Foundation Uganda

    Mothers and Children Foundation Uganda is a community-based organization dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable mothers and children in Jinja City. We provide education, healthcare support, and empowerment programs to help families thrive.

    We are seeking passionate, committed volunteers to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of mothers and children in our community.

    Responsibilities

    Volunteers may assist us with;

    Supporting educational programs for children, including tutoring, literacy, and creative activities

    Assisting in maternal health and childcare initiatives

    Organizing and participating in community outreach programs

    Providing administrative support or helping manage small projects

    Assisting with fundraising, awareness campaigns, or events

    Qualifications

    A strong interest in community service and working with mothers and children

    Patience, empathy, and good communication skills

    Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team

    Previous experience in education, childcare, social work, or healthcare is a plus, but not required

    Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment

    Location: Jinja City, Uganda

    Commitment: Flexible; from a few hours per week to longer-term involvement

    Accommodation: Volunteers are responsible for their own lodging, though guidance may be provided

    This opportunity is open to both local and international volunteers
