Community Event Volunteers Needed – Domestic Violence Awareness Event

Janice’s Women’s Center is seeking passionate, dependable, and community-driven volunteers to support an impactful domestic violence awareness and resource event taking place in Chandler, Arizona.
This event is focused on community education, resources, awareness, empowerment, and bringing people together to better understand how we can support individuals and families impacted by domestic violence across Arizona.
With changes happening to domestic violence support systems in Arizona, including the loss of the statewide hotline, community involvement is more important now than ever. This event is designed to connect attendees with organizations, resources, education, and real conversations that can help save lives.
We are seeking volunteers who are compassionate, professional, and ready to help create a welcoming and organized environment for guests, speakers, vendors, and community partners.
Volunteer Roles Needed:
- Event Setup & Breakdown
- Guest Check-In & Registration
- Vendor Assistance
- Food & Beverage Assistance
- Raffle Ticket Sales & Support
- Speaker & Panel Support
- Crowd Guidance & General Event Support
- AV/Technology Assistance (if experienced)
- Floaters/Runners to assist where needed throughout the event
What Volunteers Will Gain:
- Community service experience
- Networking opportunities with leaders, organizations, and businesses
- Hands-on experience supporting a meaningful community event
- The opportunity to directly impact and support awareness efforts in Arizona
This is more than volunteering for an event, this is being part of a movement to strengthen resources, education, and community support for those in need.
