    Description

    The Contract Specialist Intern participates in a structured, hands-on learning experience focused on contract administration, document lifecycle management, and foundational legal compliance frameworks. This role provides exposure to contract drafting methodologies, clause analysis, and regulatory tracking mechanisms within a supervised and guided environment. Participants may engage at different levels within this role based on the program’s tiered structure (Foundational, Intermediate, Advanced), depending on prior experience, engagement, and program needs.

    As a 1099 Contractor, you will earn 5% commission on the total value of each successful client contract that becomes a paying business client of Cherrie Give Resultz, where the client was sourced or supported through Contract Specialist efforts that you assisted.

    Commissions are paid upon receipt of payment from the client and are subject to applicable tax reporting (Form 1099-NEC). No base pay, benefits, or guaranteed minimum compensation is provided.

    Learning Focus Areas

    Participants in this role will gain exposure to:

    • Standard commercial contract structures, templates, and legal terminology
    • Risk identification frameworks within service agreements and NDA clauses
    • Contract tracking, renewal pipelines, and compliance auditing systems
    • Legal research methodologies concerning state and federal regulations

    Program Activities

    Participants may engage in:

    • Supporting the revision, formatting, and proofreading of foundational contract templates
    • Assisting with the organization, indexing, and digital filing of executed agreements
    • Participating in legal research modules regarding contract compliance updates
    • Collaborating with team members on structured tasks
    • Communicating questions, observations, or feedback to program leadership

    Note: All activities are conducted within a supervised and guided learning environment.

    Qualifications

    Education / Background

    Candidates may include:

    • Students currently enrolled in a degree program (Pre-Law, Legal Studies, Business Administration, or Finance preferred)
    • Recent graduates seeking practical portfolio building in contract workflows
    • Early-career professionals looking to step into procurement or legal operations
    • Individuals seeking to gain experience in a new functional area

    • Familiarity with relevant tools (Google Workspace, digital signature workflows, etc.)
