    Description

    Hospice of Central Pa is looking for several pet therapy volunteers to join our team! Pet therapy for seniors provides significant physical, emotional, and cognitive benefits. It fosters social interaction, stimulates memory, and offers a sense of purpose and companionship, improving overall quality of life! Our volunteers visit patients in nursing facilities, hospitals, and patient homes. All therapy animals must be certified through an accredited pet therapy program such as, but not limited to; KPETS, Caring Hearts, Alliance of Therapy Dogs, etc. Please reach out if interested!     Hospice of Central Pa serves Dauphin, Perry, Cumberland, and other surrounding counties. Our Mission is to provide personalized, compassionate care and support for patients and families coping with serious illness through the end of life.
