    Description

Carpe Librum is a used bookstore benefiting Turning the Page, an education nonprofit dedicated to developing literacy programs for elementary and middle school students in Wards 7 and 8. We will be popping up in Mt. Vernon Triangle for fundraising book sales on April 23. We will need volunteers to help us set up in the morning and box up in the afternoon. This is a great opportunity to spend an hour or two supporting literacy and positive educational outcomes in the DC public school students.

    Can you lend a hand?

The first shift is from 10:15 am-101:00 am, helping to set up tables and shelve books by genre.

The second shift is from 5:30 pm-7:00 pm, helping to pack up books.
