    Description

Outreach and Client Services (Lead Generation)

About our volunteer positions in Outreach and Client Services

Our goal is to recruit a team of volunteers from around the US (multiple time zones), who are interested in supporting our nonprofit by researching prospective clients, especially nonprofits and other service organizations in the Midwest

Here are our objectives for this role:

    • We are seeking volunteers who can contribute 2 to 4 hours a week (researching and outreach) and 1 hour a week by joining our virtual outreach team meeting.
    • Commit to the volunteer role for a minimum of six months.
    • Candidate should be comfortable and skilled in writing and grammar.
    • Volunteers should be comfortable researching and communicating virtually.
    • Experience in business-to-business communication is encouraged, but not required.

Volunteers will learn about Organizational Development and the unique combination of experiential learning and facilitation with horses. They will gain experience and insight into the various elements of creating and delivering transformational retreats and workshops. Once familiar with our process, brand, and offerings, volunteers will have the opportunity to present to potential clients and learn the steps to build and then present proposals.

    Backgrounds that will help:

    • Organizational Development/Team Building/Executive Coaching
    • Nonprofit Organizations and serving nonprofit organizations
    • Sales (Business to business preferred, any and all will be helpful.)
    • Marketing (Branding, communication, PR)
    • Social Media
    • Social Change, advocacy, social justice - Organizations are working towards social change.
    • Community organizations - municipalities, Chambers, Rotary, etc.
    • Horses and Equine psychology
    • Partnering with horses to help people. (Mental health, Organizational development)
