Willing to work in a wild animal care setting, follow state and federal regulations pertaining to working around wildlife, eager and able to meet requirements to obtain Category 4 Caretaker Permit.

Description

Volunteers in this role clean, disinfect, and maintain crates, enclosures, and runs to ensure a sanitary environment for our feathered friends. They prepare meals according to specified diets, feed the patients, clean up feeding residues, refill water, and change bedding as needed. They report any unusual conditions to TREE Rehabilitators. This is the first step to becoming a Rehabilitator and handling wildlife directly.
