Volunteer Regional Group Leader

From Queens, With Love (FQWL) is a membership-based social community on a mission to eradicate loneliness in Queens. We help adults across the borough build meaningful friendships and feel more connected to the place they call home.

Membership is free, with an application process. Through small gatherings, shared interests, and neighborhood outings, we create opportunities for people from different backgrounds and walks of life to get to know one another. Our focus is on lasting connection, with gatherings that give people space to talk, feel included, and develop friendships over time.

Our community is rooted in belonging, inclusivity, mutual respect, and a love for Queens. We explore neighborhoods throughout the borough and support local businesses, with an emphasis on BIPOC-owned and women-owned businesses.

Our volunteer Connectors help bring this mission to life by organizing local outings and creating a welcoming environment for members. Together, we’re helping people find their people closer to home.
