Description
Go behind the scenes with OPB! OPB is seeking volunteers to assist with an "Oregon Field Guide" On the Road film screening and panel in Astoria on Friday, August 21, 5:30-9:30 PM.
OPB’s award-winning weekly TV show "Oregon Field Guide” explores the ecological issues, natural wonders and outdoor recreation that make the Pacific Northwest unique. Films will include topics relevant to Oregon's North Coast.
If you live in or near Astoria, we'd love to have you join us at this event, or a future event!
Event Assistant responsibilities include:
- Greet and engage with guests
- Take tickets and/or check guest lists
- Assist with set up/tear down
Qualifications:
- Reliable and dependable
- Friendly and welcoming
- Comfortable in a variety of social situations and like talking to lots of different people
- Willingness to communicate with OPB staff via email and in person
Commitment:
- August 21, 5:30 - 9:30 p.m. shift
- Additional OPB volunteer opportunities may be available in the area annually, but commitment to more than one event not necessary.
Training/Resources Provided:
- Training provided by OPB staff
- OPB staff available onsite at events to answer questions and troubleshoot issues
