VETERANS, WE NEED YOU!
Aveanna participates in the We Honor Veterans program, which offers veteran centered care for veterans and their families at the end of life. Veterans make up approximately 25% of hospice patients and can benefit from spending time with other who have also served. What can veteran volunteers do?
- Veteran to Veteran companionship
- Pinning ceremonies for veterans
- Community outreach
- Holiday veteran events and projects
No experience is necessary and all training is provided. We look forward to hearing from you soon!
