    About the Organization

    The Comprehensive Infant Development Organization (CIDO) is a nonprofit organization based in Rwanda dedicated to promoting inclusive and holistic development for children under 18 years old. Our programs focus on health, nutrition, early childhood development, education, disability inclusion, sports, and family empowerment, particularly for vulnerable children in rural communities.

    CIDO has recently been approved on Benevity, one of the world’s leading corporate giving platforms that allows employees from major companies to donate to nonprofit organizations and have their donations matched by their employers.

    We are seeking motivated volunteers who can help us leverage this opportunity to connect with corporate employees and increase support for children and families in Rwanda.

    Volunteer Role

    Corporate Giving & Benevity Engagement Volunteer

    Key Responsibilities

    -Research companies whose employees donate through Benevity

    • Identify professionals who may be interested in supporting child development initiatives

    • Help promote CIDO’s work within corporate giving communities

    • Support outreach to potential employee donors

    • Encourage the use of employee matching gift programs

    • Assist in promoting volunteer opportunities for corporate employees

    Qualifications

    • Interest in nonprofit fundraising, partnerships, or corporate social responsibility

    • Strong research and communication skills

    • Ability to work independently and remotely

    • Familiarity with LinkedIn or online professional networks is an advantage

    • Passion for improving the lives of vulnerable children
