    Description

    Receptionist

    The Volunteer Receptionist will provide positive and compassionate support to staff and visitors through receptionist activities to help support the PACE Southeast Michigan mission. This volunteer will greet guests, answer and direct phone calls, assist with bulk mailings, monitor and restock copy and break room supplies, as well as other duties as assigned.

    Supervisor: Director of Organizational Development

    QUALIFICATIONS: * Up to date COVID-19 and flu immunizations

    • Reliable transportation SPECIAL SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED:
    • Comfortable engaging with the older adult community
    • Ability to comprehend, follow, and retain both written and verbal directions
    • Ability to maintain professional interactions with participants and staff * Dependable, punctual, self-motivated, and compassionate * Excellent organizational skills * Willingness to accept additional responsibility * Dependable and self-motivated * Use discretion, sound judgement, and maintain confidentiality

    TIME COMMITMENT:

    • Minimum one 4-hour shift per week (more than one shift available)
    • Minimum one-year commitment
