    Description

Volunteer Opportunity to become a Hospice Companion- Washington State Only!

Hospice provides care to patients and families when the patient is expected to die within six months. This does not mean that all die in that time period, often patients stay on hospice for much longer.

The magical part of hospice is the way that it involves community members as volunteers. There are many different things that a volunteer may do with a patient. Sometimes it is sitting bedside and chatting, sometimes it is helping with light housekeeping and other times it is watching tv or listening to music. The opportunities are only limited by imagination!

We require that you are a kind and compassionate person who wants to be a part of this amazing work. We will provide you with all the necessary training and support! Envision Hospice is the leading hospice company in the South Sound and we have patients in Kitsap, King, Pierce, and King counties.
