    Description

    International Humanity Foundation (IHF)

The International Humanity Foundation (IHF) is a global non-profit organization dedicated to educating and empowering disadvantaged children and communities worldwide. With volunteers working across five continents, IHF promotes ethical leadership, cross-cultural collaboration, and sustainable development.

We are currently seeking articulate, persistent, and research-oriented volunteers to join our Grants Team.

🔹 Role Overview The Grants Team is the "Financial Architect" of IHF's future. Your mission is to identify, research, and apply for international grants that fund our children’s centers, educational programs, and sustainable development projects. You turn our stories of impact into compelling, data-driven proposals for global donors.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Grant Research: Identify potential funding opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government agencies that align with IHF’s mission.
    • Proposal Writing: Draft high-quality, persuasive grant applications, including project descriptions, budgets, and impact metrics.
    • Donor Relations: Maintain a calendar of deadlines and manage follow-up communications with grant-making organizations.
    • Data Collaboration: Work with Center Leads and the Finance Team to gather the statistics and stories needed for reporting.
    • Grant Reporting: Help track the progress of funded projects and draft the "Impact Reports" required by donors.

    🔹 Ideal Candidate:

    • Exceptional written communication skills (ability to write professionally and persuasively).
    • Strong research and analytical abilities.
    • Detail-oriented with a respect for strict deadlines and complex application requirements.
    • Background in Writing, International Development, Non-Profit Management, or Finance.
    • Persistent and resilient (understanding the competitive nature of grant cycles).

🔹 Benefits of Volunteering with IHF:

    • Professional Grant Writing Experience: Build a portfolio of successful proposals for an international NGO.
    • Global Development Insight: Understand the mechanics of how global aid is funded and distributed.
    • Strategic Networking: Learn to communicate with high-level stakeholders and foundations.
    • Certification: Receive official recognition for your role in securing the resources that sustain IHF’s mission.
