Description
Tifft Nature Preserve is looking for Volunteer Tour Guides to help lead school field trips for elementary-aged students - guiding them on the trails and inspiring a love for wildlife, conservation, and the natural world.
Most volunteer opportunities take place Tuesday-Friday, 9:45 AM - 12:30 PM during the school year.
Along with the joy of leading these tours comes the important responsibility of guiding young learners safely and delivering key educational content. All prospective Tour Guides must complete three mandatory training sessions this fall at Tifft:
- Tuesday, September 23 - 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM
- Tuesday, September 30 - 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM
- Tuesday, October 7 - 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM (includes a group practice tour & lunch)
