Description
We are currently seeking pet visitor volunteers to support hospice patients at our Johanna Shores campus in Arden Hills and Eagle Crest in Roseville.
Do you have a friendly cat or dog who loves people, enjoys gentle attention, and brings smiles wherever they go? Many of our patients deeply miss the companionship of animals, and your pet could provide meaningful comfort, connection, and joy.
A few things to know:
- Pets do not need to be certified therapy animals. A calm temperament and friendly personality are what matter most.
- Research shows that both volunteers and animals can help reduce pain, ease anxiety, and bring peace to hospice patients.
- Visits are flexible and designed to match your schedule and your pet’s comfort level.
