    Description

    Are you multilingual and want to help others to access free English classes? Do you speak any of the following high-demand languages?

    • Spanish
    • Arabic
    • Chinese
    • French
    • Russian
    • Burmese
    • Bengali
    • Haitian Creole

    We’re looking for speakers of these languages to assist with English as a Second Language (ESL) class registration. Your language skills can make a big difference in helping new learners feel welcomed and supported.

    Morning LIC (Riis Community Center; 10-25 41st Avenue, Long Island City, NY 11101)

    Registration dates: Tuesday, April 14th

    Registration time: 8:45 am - 11:45 pm

    Evening Jackson Heights (Renaissance Charter HS; 35-59 81st St, Jackson Heights, NY 11372)

    Registration dates: Tuesday, April 14th; Wednesday, April 15th

    Registration times: 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm

    Evening Astoria (IS 126; 31-51 21st St, Astoria, NY 11106)

    Registration dates: Thursday, April 16th

    Registration times: 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm
