    Description

    Donation Organizer

This is a volunteer opportunity, not a paid position.

This volunteer opportunity is NOT eligible for court-ordered service.

The Freedom Tour is looking for volunteers to help in their Lake Wales warehouse. Volunteers would assist in sorting and bagging food, creating packs for children, and breaking down the boxes. To keep the workspace hazard free and clean some light sweeping and cleaning may be needed along the way. Additionally, volunteers may be asked to help organize pallets of products and to help with some distribution events.

The ideal volunteer is self-motivated, a team player, and can assist in an environment that could flow at varying paces depending on the amount of items, number of people, and time available. Volunteers should wear closed toe shoes with a good grip to prevent slipping and wear comfortable but appropriate clothing. Help is needed for any hours between 8:30am to 11:30am on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.

The Freedom Tour is a disaster relief ministry that helps communities affected by natural disasters. During blue skies The Freedom Tour serves more than 35 schools and ministries with items for hunger relief, clothing, hygiene, and other essential items to meet the needs of the community.
