Volunteer in WHEAT's Clothes Silo and act as a personal shopper for women re-entering or entering the work place in our professional clothing boutique.
Women are referred from local training centers and agencies to receive free professional outfits for successful interviews and job placement. Includes wardrobe consultation and self-esteem building.
You'll help process donations, serve both clients and customers, outfit models for style shows and so much more.
South of Indian School Road on the northwest corner of 7th STREET and Fairmount in Plaza 4000. Look for the Big RED signs on the monument sign.
All volunteers will first attend a New Volunteer Orientation to become familiar with WHEAT and its programs. The 30 minute orientation includes a tour and presentation on all the volunteer opportunities available and a chance to ask questions.
Please email Volunteer@HungerHurts.org for current orientation dates and times available; once a seat is saved for you, a New Volunteer Application will also be sent via email.
