Join us for an exciting new community tradition—Run Rock Creek 2026! This inaugural 5K/10K race brings together runners, neighbors, and nature lovers to celebrate and support one of our region’s most treasured parks.

We’re seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help make this event a fun, safe, and memorable experience for all participants. Whether you can assist for a few hours or the entire morning, your support will make a meaningful impact.

Volunteer Roles Available

Pre-Race & Early Morning (6:00 AM)

• Set-Up Crew
• Registration Support
• Bag Check
• Entrance Welcomers
• Parking Directors
• Yoga Warm-Up Support

During the Race (Race Start 8:00 AM)

• Water Station Volunteers
• Finish Line Medal Distributors

Post-Race & Wrap-Up

• Water & Snacks Distribution
• Bag Return
• Educators / Activity Coordinators
• Yoga Cooldown Support
