One-Time Events Volunteers for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Summit or Medina County!

Help set up, tear down, run events such as handing out supplies or food, giving directions, directing games, cheering people on etc. Volunteers are welcome to participate in events, as directed. Tasks vary. We would provide you with accessible tasks. Lifting small to large items, walking, speaking loudly, etc. are activities we would let you know of. Other tasks may be opening items, stacking, sorting etc.

Mentors:

• Abide by safety and communication procedures to ensure the well-being of your Little, community, and yourself.
• Keep open communication with us, and Little's guardian where applicable participate in evaluation/any needed training
• Comply with laws and ordinances
• Communicate before/during/after emergencies or any concerning situations

This opportunity helps local youth, families, volunteers, and community. Volunteers can be a part of free, fun community service events for the community, providing everything from food, games, and community building activities. Events also help the children still on our wait list, to have one day mentoring opportunities and not feel left out of the program. Events also help families and Matches have something to do. Volunteers can often participate and gain food, prizes etc. from events too, as well as are always welcome to community building where applicable. We are happy to have you!
