Description
Join our mission to eliminate preventable sudden cardiac death in youth. As a Heart Screener, you provide life-saving ECGs to students in a fast-paced, compassionate environment. No medical experience necessary!
The Role
- ECG Operation: Accurately enter patient data and conduct non-invasive heart screenings.
- Privacy & Respect: Ensure screening room privacy and treat every participant with class.
- Confidentiality: Maintain strict protection of all health information (HIPAA/FERPA).
Requirements
- Age: 18+ years old.
- Training: Watch required training videos and pass a volunteer quiz.
- Clear Record (Background Check Required): No criminal convictions preventing work with children or on school property.
- Traits: Energetic, mature, detail-oriented, and a team player.
- Protocols: Female participants are screened by female volunteers only (likewise for Males); ECG results are never shared by volunteers.
