Atlanta Angels believe that while not everyone can foster or adopt, everyone can make a difference. Our Love Box Program matches foster families with volunteers who provide consistent, monthly support through encouragement, practical help, and relationship.
The Love Box program provides wrap-around support to caregivers, children in foster care, and biological/adopted children in the home. Volunteers are matched with a local foster family based on location, compatibility, and needs, showing up monthly with encouragement and practical support.
The Love Box Program requires a one-year commitment, with volunteers meeting with their matched family at least once a month.
We are specifically looking for volunteers in or around the Clayton County area.
The caregiver leads a life shaped by simplicity and comfort, despite the described 'chaos' of their home (6 teenage youth & one 2 year old).
In challenging moments, the caregiver relies on their inner resolve and determination, describing their approach to overcoming difficulties as akin to being on autopilot, driven by a strong will to accomplish tasks. His decision to foster stems from a deep desire to build a family and contribute positively to the community, underscoring their nurturing nature and commitment to service. Overall, he manages personal responsibilities alongside their interests, balancing daily routines with moments of rest and rejuvenation.
