    Description

Little Brothers – Friends of the Elderly (LBFE) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to alleviating loneliness and isolation among older adults. Through simple, consistent acts of friendship, volunteers help ensure that older adults know they are valued, connected, and not forgotten. As LBFE–Chicago expands services in DuPage and Kane Counties, we are seeking compassionate volunteers who want to build genuine, one-to-one relationships with older adults in their community.

    Ways to Volunteer

We offer flexible opportunities to fit a variety of schedules:

    • Coffee & Conversation – Join small group gatherings with older adults
    • Driving Support – Provide rides to and from LBFE events
    • Friendly Visits – Spend time one-to-one with an older adult
    • Special Events & Celebrations – Help with holidays, birthdays, and seasonal gatherings
