    “Serve with love, inspire with compassion”

    Are you ready for an adventure of a lifetime? The Dream Foundation of Uganda is calling volunteers and interns to join us in making a difference!

    We're looking for passionate individuals to serve in various categories, including. No Minimum Number Required and programs run all year round. Pick your interest:

    1. Animal Conservation: Help protect Uganda's wildlife
    2. Environmental Projects: Contribute to sustainable development
    3. Education and Literacy: Teach English, math, and other subjects
    4. Community Development: Support local initiatives and projects
    5. Healthcare Initiatives: Assist in hospitals and clinics
    6. Wildlife and Nature: Work with conservation efforts
    7. Childcare and Children: Help with daily care and education
    8. Computer Training: Teach computer skills to locals
    9. Disaster Relief: Assist in emergency response and recovery
    10. Elderly Care: Support elderly individuals in need
    11. Film and Media: Create documentaries and videos on community issues, share your skills with the communities and students.
    12. Fundraising and Development: Help raise funds for projects
    13. Healthcare and Medical: Assist medical professionals
    14. HIV/AIDS Awareness: Support education and outreach programs
    15. Orphanage Support: Care for orphaned children
    16. Sports and Recreation: Coach sports and promote physical activity
    17. Street Children Support: Help street-connected boys and girls
    18. Sustainable Development: Support eco-friendly initiatives
    19. Teaching English: Teach English language skills
    20. Women's Empowerment: Support women's rights and development
    21. Youth Development: Mentor and support young people
    22. Sanitary Pad project: Distribute, help, teach village girls how to use sanitary pads, most girls in the villages use crashed dry banana leaves, crashed grass, and dirty pieces of closes during menstruation periods.

    What's included:

    • Airport pickup and drop
    • Accommodation: Volunteer house with other interns/volunteers; shared rooms, basic amenities (bed, study area, Wi-Fi)

    • Three meals per day (revolving balanced diet)

    Three Meals a Day:

    Revolving Balanced Diet: Mix of local Ugandan and international foods

    Breakfast: Ugandan-style (like chapati, tea, fruits) or Western (oats, bread, eggs).

    Examples: Chapati with beans, fruits, tea; oats with fruits/nuts.

    Lunch: Mix of local foods.

    Examples: Matooke, beans, greens; rice with chicken/vegetables.

    Dinner: Mix of proteins, veggies, staples.

    Examples: Posho with greens and chicken; rice with fish and salad.

    Snacks: Fresh fruits, maybe tea/coffee.

    Special Dietary Options: We can accommodate dietary restrictions such as vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, lactose-free, and other requirements.

    • Insurance
    • Visa fees (50 USD, applied online)
    • Vaccination shots (yellow fever, hepatitis B, malaria)
    • Shopping for souvenirs
    • Personal expenses
    • Optional activities or excursions beyond the wildlife safari
    • Tips or gratuities for good services

    Additional Contribution:

    $200 (paid separately) This contributes directly to the community projects where you will serve, program materials.

                                          At Entebbe International Airport, our team will ensure a seamless arrival experience with optimized pickup logistics. Our driver will be waiting at the designated meeting point in the arrivals hall, holding a sign with your name or program logo. With spacious vehicles, you can easily store your luggage - we're happy to accommodate 1-2 suitcases/bags per person. If you have extra bags, please let us know in advance so we can make necessary arrangements. Our drivers will assist with loading and unloading luggage, ensuring a hassle-free experience. We'll provide clear communication and support throughout the pickup process, so you can focus on enjoying your journey.

                                          What to Pack:

                                          Clothes: Lightweight, breathable (tropical climate); long sleeves/pants for evenings, wildlife visits; rain gear.

                                          Essentials: A laptop for personal use, insect repellent, sunscreen, malaria prophylaxis, vaccinations (check requirements), comfortable shoes.

                                          Gifts: School supplies, sweets, balloons for communities/students.

                                          Cultural Tips:

                                          Greetings: Handshakes common, respect elders.

                                          Dress modestly: No skirts above knees in rural areas/villages.

                                          Communication: English official, local languages too; you'll have an interpreter.

                                          Local customs: Respect traditions, ask before taking photos of people.

                                          Money: Ugandan Shilling (UGX), we'll take you to a forex bureau in town. First day here you will be driven around our capital city.
