About the Program

Walk+Connect is our casual community walk designed to help locals meet new people, decompress, and explore nearby trails. It’s simple, friendly, and welcoming, and we’re looking for volunteer greeters who can help set the tone.

What You’ll Do

As a Walk+Connect volunteer, your only real job is to help people feel welcome and guide the group along the planned route. Specifically, you will:

• Arrive 10–15 minutes early to say hello to participants
• Help attendees check the meeting point and feel comfortable joining in
• Walk with the group and ensure everyone knows the route
• Assist with light coordination (e.g., pointing out rest points, keeping the group together)
