Description
At GOTR WMA we match volunteers with a Girls on the Run Team in your area. The teams meet twice a week for 90 minutes afterschool from the week of March 16 until the 5K celebration on June 6. The days that you meet are determined by the coaching team. Each team has at least 3 coaches and 8-15 girls. Each 90 minute lesson has a social emotional topic that is brought to the girls through fun games and movement activities. The curriculum and all materials needed are provided so there is minimal prep needed.
To become a coach you need to submit an application, complete a background check, interview and participate in new coach training.
