A wonderful new volunteer opportunity for those who enjoy working with children and helping encourage a love of reading!
Bella’s Book Bridge is developing a monthly reading program that will bring volunteers into recreation centers serving children in communities with lower literacy rates throughout Pinellas
Volunteers would visit a participating recreation center once a month to read with children, share stories, and help make reading a fun and positive experience.
This could be a great fit if you:
- Enjoy reading and spending time with children
- Want a meaningful volunteer opportunity with a manageable monthly commitment
- Believe in helping children build confidence and excitement around books and literacy
