    Description

Volunteer Mission, Vision & Organizational Messaging Specialist

Renova Global Foundation is a Minnesota-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit working to strengthen healthcare infrastructure and expand access to sustainable healthcare services in underserved communities, with an initial focus on Liberia.

As Renova continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced communications or nonprofit strategy professional who would like to use their expertise to help shape the voice and direction of an emerging global health organization.

The volunteer will work directly with Renova leadership to independently review our mission, vision, organizational messaging, and positioning and recommend ways to make our message clearer, stronger, and more compelling.

    What you’ll help us accomplish:

    • Review and provide feedback on our current mission and vision.
    • Evaluate organizational messaging for clarity, consistency, and effectiveness.
    • Recommend improvements while preserving Renova’s core purpose and identity.
    • Strengthen how we communicate our healthcare infrastructure model and international development work.
    • Help ensure our message resonates with communities, donors, partners, volunteers, and healthcare professionals.
    • Provide practical recommendations and proposed revisions that Renova can implement.

What you’ll gain from volunteering with Renova:

You will have an opportunity to make a tangible contribution during an important stage of Renova’s organizational development. Your recommendations can directly influence how an emerging international healthcare nonprofit communicates its mission to communities, funders, partners, and the public.

You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with Renova’s leadership and healthcare professionals while applying your expertise to a real-world global health and nonprofit development initiative.

    Who we’re looking for:

We welcome professionals with experience in nonprofit communications, strategic communications, organizational development, branding, nonprofit strategy, international development, public health communications, or related fields. Strong writing, editing, and critical-thinking skills are especially valuable.
