The accentCare Bereavement Center is seeking compassionate, caring volunteers to join our supportive team.

Our bereavement volunteers make bereavement support calls to clients who are 6 to 12 months into their grief journey. These calls provide connection, encouragement, and helpful resources while reminding grieving individuals that they are not alone.

To ensure volunteers feel prepared and supported, we provide comprehensive bereavement training, call shadowing opportunities, and a criminal background check before volunteers begin making calls.

One of the best parts of this opportunity is its flexibility. Volunteer calls are completed from home, and we work with your schedule. All you'll need is access to a computer or tablet with reliable internet service and a telephone.
