    About IIAN

    Invisible Illness Awareness Network is a 100% volunteer-driven 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to raising awareness of invisible illnesses, chronic conditions, and disabilities. Through education, advocacy, and community-building, we work to reduce stigma, support patients and families, and drive meaningful change in healthcare and education. We have affiliates across the country and a growing digital presence.

    About the Role

    As a YouTube Video Editor, you'll produce polished, long-form video content that educates viewers about invisible illness, shares patient stories, and supports IIAN's advocacy and educational mission.

    What You'll Do

    • Edit long-form YouTube videos, recording from our Invisibly Aware Series; these recordings are about 1 hour long each
    • Each month, you will be assigned a new video to edit, with a two-week turnaround timeframe
    • Ensure videos meet accessibility standards, including clear audio levels

    Who We're Looking For

    • Experience editing long-form video content (portfolio or examples welcome but not required)
    • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or similar
    • Ability to work independently and communicate clearly in a remote environment
    • Passion for healthcare advocacy, patient stories, or disability awareness
    • Students, emerging video editors, and experienced professionals are all welcome
