This volunteer leadership position plays a key role in strengthening the SFCC’s financial foundation through donor engagement, grant writing, and development strategy. If you’re passionate about helping youth programs succeed and have a knack for fundraising or nonprofit development, we’d love to have you on board.

    Key Responsibilities

      • Develop and implement a comprehensive organizational fundraising strategy.
      • Identify, research, and cultivate prospective donors, partners, and sponsors.
      • Manage donor onboarding, stewardship, and long-term engagement.
      • Prepare, write, and submit grant proposals to foundations, corporations, and other funding sources.
      • Maintain accurate donor and grant records using organizational tools or CRM systems.
      • Collaborate with SFCC leadership to align fundraising goals with programmatic needs.
      • Provide regular updates on fundraising progress, opportunities, and timelines.
      • Ensure all development activities align with organizational values and compliance requirements.

    Qualifications

      • Experience in nonprofit development, fundraising, grant writing, or donor relations (professional or volunteer).
      • Strong written communication and organizational skills.
      • Ability to work independently and proactively identify funding opportunities.
      • Familiarity with donor management tools or CRMs is a plus.
