Description
BluShues Inc. is a nonprofit organisation and ministry dedicated to distributing free Bibles and fostering a relationship with Jesus Christ. Our mission is to make the Word of God accessible to everyone, both locally and internationally. We believe in the transformative power of volunteers who share our passion for spreading the message of hope and faith.
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic direction and governance to ensure BluShues fulfils its mission and vision.
- Participate in Board meetings and contribute to organisational planning and decision making.
- Support the development, review, and approval of organisational policies and strategic initiatives.
- Provide oversight of the organisation's programmes, finances, and overall performance.
- Promote accountability, transparency, and ethical leadership throughout the organisation.
- Serve as an ambassador for BluShues by representing the ministry within professional and community networks.
- Support fundraising, partnerships, and resource mobilisation efforts where appropriate.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to senior leadership when required.
- Ensure organisational activities comply with relevant legal and governance requirements.
- Uphold and protect the mission, values, and reputation of BluShues.

- Passionate about the mission of BluShues and committed to advancing Christian outreach.
- Strong leadership and strategic thinking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to make sound decisions with integrity and objectivity.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- High ethical standards and commitment to good governance.
- Strong organisational and analytical skills.
- Willingness to actively contribute time and expertise to the organisation.
Qualifications and Competencies:
- Degree or professional qualification in business, law, nonprofit management, leadership, ministry, or a related discipline preferred but not required.
- Previous leadership or board experience is an advantage.
- Understanding of nonprofit governance and organisational oversight.
- Ability to evaluate strategic opportunities and organisational risks.
- Experience working within volunteer based organisations is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent productivity tools.
- Strong problem solving and decision making skills.
- Commitment to continuous learning and servant leadership.
