    About UVFA United Voices for Animals (UVFA) is a youth-led animal welfare nonprofit empowering students around the world to advocate for animals through education, leadership, and community-driven action. We operate through a network of City Leads, Ambassadors, and volunteers across multiple cities, running initiatives like our Kindness Curriculum (educational outreach to schools and libraries) and Tales of Tails (our advocacy blog).

    Position Overview We are looking for a passionate and driven Outreach Director to lead UVFA's external communications and partnership-building efforts. This is a volunteer leadership role ideal for a student or young professional who wants to make a real impact in animal welfare while gaining meaningful nonprofit experience.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute outreach strategies to grow UVFA's network of partners, schools, shelters, and community organizations
    • Identify and reach out to potential collaborators, sponsors, and supporters
    • Support City Leads and Ambassadors with outreach resources and guidance
    • Represent UVFA in communications with external organizations
    • Track outreach efforts and report progress to executive leadership

    Ideal Candidate

    • Passionate about animal welfare and youth empowerment
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote setting
    • Experience in outreach, marketing, communications, or nonprofit work is a plus
    • Students and first-time leaders are encouraged to apply
