    Description

    Abinchi International is a mission-driven nonprofit serving communities in Ghana and the United States through nutrition education, sustainable feeding, and farming initiatives, and girls’ education sponsorship. Our work is rooted in service, dignity, cultural respect, and long-term impact.

    Role Overview

    We are seeking a Volunteer Website Management Volunteer to help keep Abinchi’s website updated, organized, and aligned with our growing programs and campaigns. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes to ensure information is clear, current, and accessible to the public. You will help maintain Abinchi’s digital “home,” ensuring our story, programs, and calls to action are easy to find and engaging.

    Responsibilities

    • Update website content (text, images, announcements, program pages)
    • Post news updates, blog posts, or campaign highlights
    • Ensure donation, volunteer, and contact pages are accurate and functional
    • Assist with basic website organization and page layout
    • Coordinate with the content, PR, and fundraising teams for updates
    • Monitor links, forms, and basic site functionality
    • Maintain brand consistency (logos, colors, tone)

    Qualifications

    • Basic experience with website platforms (WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, or similar)
    • Comfortable editing text and images on web pages
    • Organized and detail-oriented
    • Reliable with follow-through and deadlines
    • Comfortable using Google Docs/Drive
    • Interest in nonprofit, service, or community-based work
    • Respect for faith-aligned, ethical, and culturally grounded content
    • Willingness to learn Abinchi’s systems and style
